Hey i had a motor built and am trying to get everything wired back in. From what I can tell i only have 2 alternator wires 1 that plugs in its yellow and blue i think? And 1 thicker red one that gets bolted on. My main question is there's 2 post i can see where it can screw on so am I missing a wire? Wouldnt be a problem but the last owner did his own wiring ☠️. P.s I'm not a mechanic
Do you know if the alternator is the stock externally regulated alternator? If so, the blue and white wires go into a pigtail that plugs into the back of the alternator. The thicker red wire bolts onto the charging post. Yoo so im setting up the coil/alternator im struggling to find the mounting point for the coil the only spot i can see is under the alternator bracket but that doesnt make sense to me
