    Hi All,
When I got my 67, it had aftermarket guages installed that didn't work. When they were installed the leads for the temp and oil pressure sending units were cut off. Now I don't know which wire goes where. One of the wires is green and the other light blue. Can anyone tell me which is the temp and which is the oil pressure?
    Thanks!

Don't know for sure on an Olds, but on my "69 Chevy, Blue is oil pressure and Green is water temp. Hope that helps.

    GSX,
You have two quick options, 1) go to you local library and get a copy of the wiring diagram. Most larger libraries will have older shop manuals available and most have wiring schematics. You'll find it in the reference section of the library 2) Ground one or the other wires and see which gage or light functions. If you ground it momentarily you won't hurt anything.

    Thanks Tom and Frank :beer
Blue it is. I figured I had a 50/50 chance and it turns out blue was the right one for oil.

    66 442/Cutlass is:

    Dark Blue/white stripe.........oil pressure
    Green w/ white..................temp (hot).

    Think that's consistent across GM.
