An aspect of my view on the value comes from my attempt to sell my car this summer. My car is really a decent finished driver, not a show car. It needs nothing, runs well, looks good, GREAT interior. I couldn't even get a sniff at a 10k listing price on the board. Removing the vinyl top could make a difference to a buyer that wants to make the car as it was from the factory. It needed replacement, for sure. Some guys like the vinyl, some don't.
Those wheels look like Chevy SS wheels without the trim rings. Five years ago I could not even get a bite on my restored, #'s matching '68 GS400 Coupe at $5K I did end up selling it to someone who happend to see two '68 GS's sitting in my garage and asked me if one was for sale. I won't even tell you how little he paid :ball: It had to go...... I miss that car.... I think the market is a little better now but the best shot for this car might be ebay... o No:
I would have bit on it, but I missed it by a year. But I got the color combo I wanted in my 350 though.
well i had the guy come look at it, and... i think he is gonna take it for 6k. I told him 6500 and i think we are pretty much agreed on 6 so i'm happy with what i got out of it. thanks for the help guys. oh and the wheels really do look like cutlas.
