Need help identifying

    Need help identifying a 1961 Buick, vin number 6H3020910. Any help is appreciated.

    There should be a 4 digit model number starting with the numeral 4 on the cowl tag.


    For the 1961 tag you show I show :

    the last 6 digits is the seial or frame number

    3 is a code for the assembly plant

    H is the 1961 model year code

    6 is the body style.


    (Yes I know in later years "H" was the code used for the Flint plant )

    This info is needed for a friend, I spoke to him last night and asked himm to look for the additional numbers.

    6=Invicta(4600 series)

    H=1961

    3=Linden assembly plant

    020910= frame/serial number
