Can anybody help identify these? (I've attached a file with a .JPG) They're original parts pulled off (I believe) a 68 or 69 GS. However, this was 20 years ago. My junkyard days are long past, although I loved my 69 Skylark while I had it. I just don't have the time to be a Buick enthusiast these days. I'd like to list them on eBay if they're worth anything more than a few bucks. They'll clean up nicely. I just haven't bothered yet. They've been in an old toolbox for the past 20 years. Thanks, Matt Pietrek mpietrek@hotmail.com
They are door panel emblems ( the long rectangular ones) and quarter panel emblems for a '69. '68 door panel emblems are different, the fender (quarter panel) emblems are the same.
I don't think those door panel emblems came off a 69 -- I believe the 69 had shorter stainless GS emblems without the black extensions. Maybe off a 67? -- Steve
'67 had door panel emblems similar to the '68 except in '67 they said "GS400" and in '68 they just said "GS"... I may be wrong on the '69 door panel emblem..o No:
Thanks much. I appreciate it. I'm pretty sure both the quarter panel and door panel emblems are off the same car. It wouldn't surprise me if it was a 68. I had replaced my stock skylark hood with a GS hood (and air cleaner), and it might well have been the same '68 car. Matt
