im trying to find the same grille for my lark i can find gs grilles all day any body know were to find this grille
Rick, I need one with the stainless trim on it for a customer if you have it. I could work out a deal with f16dcc431 if you do,
dave if OP passes i'll most likely be interested. Couple days ago my bro started doing bodywork on my skylark..all done and his mav got jealous and kicked out of gear smashing my frontend up..mine is chipped where it vs in the middle
I'll most likely be heading over to my dad's place on Sunday. I will know for sure by then. I do know it is a '71 grille.... just not sure of the style. I haven't seen it in 20 years. To be honest, I would really like to get my hands on a decent '71 GS grille. Nothingface..... are you heading to Cedar Creek Park on Sunday for August Fest? They are expecting about 500 cars.
not sure were that's at...address time and entry fee perhaps? I was thinking about heading to washington county fair...just to see if this car wins work in progress 3 times in a year...cough rigged cough lol
It's just a big festival that they have at Cedar Creek Park near Belle Vernon (pretty close to where I-70 and Rt 51 meet. I'm not sure about entry fees and whatnot, but the festival runs from 11-7 on Sunday.... car show, flea markets, carnival rides, etc. I was hoping to have my car finished for this year's festivities but that didn't happen... I guess I am now shooting for next year.
I don't do any grille restoration... I just hapen to have a few things laying around from the past 20+ years of owning these A-bodies.
OK... here is the '71 Skylark Grille that I have.... The 4 outer studs are broken off.... it is cracked at the bottom of the lower "nose" area, and a crack on one of the horizontal slats.
