Looking to have my 4 speed gone thru and checked out before putting back in the car. Its a M21 1971. Was working when pulled but since its out may as well have someone who is good with them check it out. Any suggestions?

    Thanks much.

You might see if Paul Massicote here on the board has a suggestion. He's very knowledgeable in the way of the 4 speed and is an east coast guy. Not saying he'd necessarily do the work (I don't know, can't speak for him), but he may know someone in that area who would.

Everyone In our area goes to Ed Hartnett. (610)-623-9381

He did both Muncie 4-speeds for my two 70 Stage 1 cars and they were perfect.

I would not have anyone else do a trans for me.

Ed Hartnett is usually at Carlisle to save on some shipping...i was going to have him rebuild mine but a buddy rebuilt it...

    This.

He did my M21 back in 2006, and still works perfectly.

Thank you all for the responses. I will get a hold of one of those guys and get this done. I"m overseas till early Dec so hope to have something lined up by then.

Again, thank you guys for what looks to be great options!

Maybe you guys have seen my other post where I'm looking for good contacts for getting my car painted. Looking for good options on that too.
