Need 72 Shorty console Striker!

I need to get someone either to help me by lending me their striker off of their shorty console that goes inbetween the two front buckets seats(for stick cars), or buy one off of you. This is the latch that the top door that opens up with the pushbutton hooks onto when closed. Here is a pic of my console where the striker goes, it is where the two screws are missing. I will pay you to lend it to me so I can reproduce one, or I will buy it, whichever. Any help appreciated, thanks.

    Andrew,
Hope you're not planning to cut the chrome where it's marked?
I know these are a real bear to find latches for. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.
I could send you pics of mine, dimensions.....whatever you need from it. It's the only one I have. I could loan it for a while but realistically I don't want to take it from the car until winter storage time.

Let me know if I can help.

No problem, I can wait until you store your car for the winter to get it from you to reproduce it. It would be easier for me to have it in person to reproduce, instead of just having the dimensions. I will pay you whatever it takes to get it to me and back to you plus whatever else you want. The circle on the chrome is for a small dent in the chrome, not for cutting or anything else. So please keep in touch with me and let me know when you will be able to part with it for a week or so. Thanks for your help on this I appreciate it. :beer
