I'd like to use a gauge panel to help me select and test fit aftermarket gauges for my 72 GS. I don't want to use mine for experimentation! Anybody got a junked out one, preferably in the Ohio area?

Do you mean the cluster section w/o the guages?
If so I have one in the garage. 1971
Not sure what you'd want to pay for it or, if it is what you are looking for.

Here's what it looks like: I'll be deleting it in one month. Just needed a place to show ya'll.

Yes sir, that's exactly what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue what it may be worth, they may be priceless for all I know; I don't see many of them advertised. However, it is only worth it to me if I can pick something up for about 15 bucks or so. If you need something more, I certainly understand and don't want to try to underbid or offend. I live in Dayton, OH 45458. Let me know if you'd be interested and what shipping will run. Thanks for the reply!

    Hi Doug and Bruno,

Yep, I can sell it for that price, No problem, I have a new one, with all guages and the chrome (and you should see that one!) in the garage in bubble packing and two more. One with guages in the garage (used) Unfortunately my car has the optional tach and this one has the clock. Then of course I have the one in the car w/ the only tach.
Someday, I'll put the new instrument cluster in I bought ten-fifteen years ago and brought from San Jose' Ca.

When I do this I'll relamp w/ LEDS, The dimmer won't work but who cares? Please see my Hemmings web-link about LED's on my car, and the added longer lasting value.
It's interesting (At least to me)

Anyway, back to your new working dummy instrument cluster....

    1) Be advised it has some holes in it that seemed to be drilled? and a broken mounting pertruding (plastic) bracket. But for your use, I'm sure it will work.
    2) I will need to get a box to ship it to you in, and I'm not sure how much shipping would be. Can't be that much, It's farely lite, just need a big box. We'll kinda big.

We'll make arrangements, and I'll give you my # then.

I'm heading for Memphis for a few days, then the following week to San Jose' Silicon Valley/ Bay area till after the first 2009.

    Here's my EMAIL:

(I'll be on the lookout for your EMAIL)

Thanks Bruno but it looks like Scott can help me out. I'll let you know if it fall through for some reason.

Scott, send me a PM and we'll make arrangements; no rush. Also, I'm interested in the LED's, I know Chevelles have tail light kits available. Did you use a kit or design something yourself?
