John I'm glad you like BG as I think it is overall the best place to race period. Now that the traction is on a par with other "national" tarcks, you can't beat it. I've raced from West Palm Beach to Grand Bend Canada to Mayland to St.Louis and No Problem La and for everything considered, I will take BG anytime. I just got home from the NMCA event in Columbus Sunday night and it is improved but still not BG. I hate that I will have to go back in a couple of weeks for the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion. Wish it was still in Bowling Green. Oh, if all the Buicks were located around Columbus, where were they this weekend? A friend from Ky, a guy from NJ, and myself from TN were all that were in sight. Jim N.
Jim N, I never said all the Buicks were located around Columbus, I said the "geographical" center point of our membership turned out to be right around Columbus. This also meant the majority of the members could travel there within 1 day. Duane
I like our Texas event. We have alot more cars then people think. The Houston buick club is growing. Last saturday night we had a blown(871) GS, 2 stage2 cars, nailhead rail, 455 '65 GS, 69 stage1 convert, 2 rivs, 2 turbo cars, and a 350 GS. This is just an informal every weekend cruze night. We're having Conley's dyno day this weekend on the 9th. Fun, food and show. Oh yes, dyno!
Brandy and I must plan a special trip out by y'all. Her mom had to relocate to Katy. So we make it a couple times a year. AND mom-in-law is a classic car nut.:TU:
