well guys about a month ago i got my 455 put in the 72 Lark...its basically stock, only mods are an electric fan, k&n filter, and 2.5 dual exhaust. still have the mighty 2.56 rear end in it too! well me and a friend line up at the lights, hes driving his 2000 SVT cobra (all stock) and we both take off as hard as we can without the wheel spin, well he gets just a little bit better launch then me and i'm right at his rear quater, he hits second and barks the tires which allows me to get to his door and starting to catch up but we both don't want the cops attention so we stop it at around 65mph but at least he didn't kill me :grin: my second race went a lot better :Brow: this little WRX starts trying to mess with me around 55mph and i'm just out for a good cruising....well we finally make it to a light and just for fun i nail the throttle and get out in front, i can hear his turbo and know he was giving it all she had but i stayed out in front and was able to have about a half a car on him by 65mph and i shut it down, of course he does the fly by and probably thinks he won but i'm proud of my almost stock buick....i know WRX's can be fast but his must have been stock.... just thought i would share my little stories with you Daniel Duncan
Me thinks you get your timing and carb spot on some 3.23 or 3.42 gears fat drag radials and you will pretty much own anything in that town that isnt heavily modified. Have fun be safe take em to test & tune.
