im restoring my first buick, and my trunk dosnt open on its own power, u have to unlock it then lift with the key to open it, how is the trunk suposed to open, springs?, if sow does anyone make repoduction springs
Verify your trunk torsion springs are there. I bet one is broken and/or missing. If so, you will need to replace them.
if you need the torsion springs let me know i am parting out a 72 lark and they work fine. the car is going to the crusher friday so i need to know soon as possible.
can u save them for me + ALL the Hardware, thanks a bunch, just pm me on the details , because i live in CA, 90265 ( how big are they, will it be alot to ship?)
Hi, just a short question. I have a 68 Riv. The remote opener is unlocking the trunk, but is/was it suppose to open up the trunk itself? Per. :beer
I have a 70 LeSabre, and the electric popper justs unlocks the trunk, you have to then go lift it up...makes sense, as it would suck if the decklid would just fly upward cos it's so heavy.
