This has to be one of the craziest ideas she's come up with in a while (or cutest, depending on your POV)!!! :Brow: My sister's dog, Del Rey...and a friend of her's dog, Buster (in the complex right next to my sister's) - recently got MARRIED!! (pics to follow). Her friend actually got 'ordained' online for the ceremony!!ou:  My sister invited a news guy....he said he would be interested, but never ended up showing up. My sister, Lisa, is the one in the red top (in the pics).
Wow. Dude, they have to be from California. This could only happen in California! My apologies for you having to explain a dog wedding. :error: p
I believe when people start marrying there two dogs that its the first sign of the end of civilization as we know it. That or they have way to much money and free time on there hands. :eek2:
Wow!! She must be part of that group that wants to pass legislation to make it so people can't actually own dogs but only be their guardians. What are the potential legal ramifications of that? DB
Looks like an arranged marriage to me.. The question now is how does buster feel does he have to were the chain when he goes out with his friends....
If they come to New Jersey they can be a legit couple and probably get fully benefits with food stamps for Petsmart.
Good Medicine? Scott, I'm glad to see such a bright smile on your sister!!:TU: I hope the dogs got "hitched" at a time that would make the honeymoon enjoyable:laugh: ou: p
Del Ray and Buster Notice that look in Buster's eye? He can't wait to give Del Ray the bone.:Brow: Like so many marriages, they're likely to end up in doggy divorce court and she'll end up with the dog house. :moonu: I heard Buster had a pretty good bachelor party. The next morning was a ruff though. :beer Thanks for sharing Scott!:TU:
Oh brother..... Well, I wouldn't of guessed that one if it bit me before hand.... Buster is kinda cute in that puppy grunge kinda way, but I didn't think delray liked him, he was always spunky and ready for action. I seem to remember delray gettin pissed a few times at him... Oh wait... I guess they should be married then.... Well, least we know where the pup came from... Don't we? uzzled: Lisa does look nice in those photos, much better imho, then the wedding photos you guys were in... Perhaps I'll call up and see how the new bride is getting along with the grungmyster.... Oh, and to clarrify the 'legislation for dogs not to be property'.. It's legal in I believe Hollywood or West Hollywood.. Dogs aren't "pets" or "owned".. They're "people" with guardians... Yes, Only here in California........
Nothing quite that serious guys!! (and definitely, not a case of too much money!!):Brow:  That's about the size of it!!:Brow: I think it was more of a 'shotgun wedding'!!:Brow:  Now THAT'S funny!!! I'll have to tell her that one!!  :TU:
A couple of questions Hi Scott, I shared this thread with my wife and oldest son. They have a couple questions for you. Son: What kind of car did they drive off in after the wedding. Was it a Buick or what? Wife: Now that they are married where are they going to live?o No:
