Just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about myself. I recently sold my 69 Camaro Covt that I had for about 10yrs. The only reason I sold her is I spotted a chance to "upgrade" when I came across this 70. It was an even trade-off $$ wise. I'm glad I did it. I am officially a Buickhead for life. I really love this car and want to take good care of her and keep her for many years. I'm no mechanic and I know when to hand off work to the pros. But I'm getting braver by the day and will be using this resource to hopefully avoid getting into too much trouble. The advice I've seen and recieved on this board has already been very helpful. I just won an auction on eBay for a service manual and it's on it's way - but I'll always be checking in here for advice and second opinions. Thank again to whoever started this board and those who keep it alive. I hope to meet some of you guys in person down the road. First round on me. :beer
Oh yeah. 12V Man? It's the name of one of my favorite Jimmy Buffett songs. I live for summer and Jimmy helps to make it feel like summer year round.
Welcome to the V8 board Randy! We have Jim Wiese and Mike Bucy to thank for starting it up, and many of us users to thank for supporting it with voluntary donations. :beer
Welcome Randy! You'll find the Buick community will always help brothers out! Soon, at 'the meetings', you'll have to say Sweet car!
