I took the seats out of the 66 special 4dr today & have no use for them, & don't want to scrap them if any body has a use for them. They will need covers!
Also, the V6 & st300 are ready to pull, if any one wants any of these items, come & get them. If you want anything shipped ,you'll have to pay for the shipping. The motor was hammering badly last time it ran & the trans seemed a little slippery.

If the trans is a switch pitch style 300, I would like to get the torque converter to use as a core. Let me know what shipping would be to 66701. And where in the heck is LeLaire, Iowa? Did you mean Le Claire?
    Thanks, Randy

Randy, oops, yes it's Le Claire. Yes, it is a switch pitch. If this snow ever stops I'll get my brother's hoist from across the street & pull it out & weigh it & shoot you a pm.
Rick, Yes it's a black vinyl bench.

If this was/is a non A.C. car, I would be interested in the water pump and crank pulleys.

Yes Tom, No ac, no ps, no pb. The water pump pulley Is off already, will have to take the crank pulley off. Send me your address, I'll box them up figure out what shipping will be.
Randy, I have a path cleared out for the hoist, & the weather looks decent this week, so I should get the motor & trans out this week. So I should have converter out this week also.

    Thanks Jeff,
    sent you a PM.

If the alternator brackets aren't spoken for, I could use those as well? The upper steel arm, and the lower bracket that bolts to the front of the head?

Sounds good. Have fun! Do you know if the kickdown switch setup on the throttle linkage was working? Would be nice to have a spare for that too.

    daward Measure twice, cut once.

FWIW to someone considering the seats: I got my front bench w/ armrest for my 2 door out of a 4 door donor car. It's as easy as two bolts to have the seats fold forward.

I wonder what shipping on the front seat would be to 96150?

Probably more than it's worth. Especially since it would pretty much be a "core" since it needs recovered. Geyhound MIGHT ship it, but it would probably have to go freight. If you know some headed your way from IA or further east & has some room , they could pick it up.
Besides, if it's for a 2dr , it would be a pita to get in the back seat. It's not a split back bench.
