    Delco, it is!

Good to know! Do you think a stock replacement would be fine or should I get something a little heavier duty?

I don't think you have a choice. The Delco replacement is what you need. The new part may have another brand name, but that doesn't matter. I think the booster will be around $100, and the MC (if you choose to replace it) is around $40.

    Matt,

I have a couple of rebuilt boosters laying around. If you want I would give you a deal of $15 for the booster and cost of shipping. They should be a Delco replacement.

There's a deal that you can't beat. Take the money that you save and buy a new master cylinder and have a little extra for in case you find anything else that needs attention.

    Matt,

I checked the booster against a new reproduction "Delco" booster that i just got and it looks the same - totally the same shape, same bolt spacing. I don't see a " Delco" stamping on it, but it looks the same. I can send a pic if you like and maybe someone can chime in. Send me an email address for the pic.

Carl, I would have no idea if it works or not but if someone knows for sure, I'd definitely take it.

    Take it:laugh:

I've seen lots of them without the delco stamp. I have one in my basement, but it has the wrong brackets for your car.

I will have to think about whether I want to get rid of another one.

Don't think too long, I will need to be buying one by this coming weekend. I just did my rebuild of the front-end and did my disc swap and the booster that we thought was "newer" ended up being bad.

I am in no hurry to sell another for $15. With where you live, you might be better off finding one local.

No problem, I would feel better with the new part having a warranty also. Thanks
