The shop that did all of my body and paint work posted my car on their site....kinda cool....check out the link below... http://www.dougjenkinscustomhotrods.com/classics_73Riviera_03.html
:eek2: YIKES! You're dropping the engine and trans in AFTER all the paint and body work have been done??? Man, that's too much stress for me. Here's a good tip... go to U-Haul and buy 6 moving blankets. Cover every part of the car you can. Heck, I'd even go to a fabric store and buy a bolt of felt if I were you. First cover the paint with felt, then layer on the moving blankets. Be careful and enjoy your boattail.
That's who I planning on using, after I get the $$$$$! Please PM me and give me lowdown on the shop, like how they were to deal with, cost, etc., etc. I would really appreciate it. By the way, I saw your car on their site before. It looks great! Thanks,
Amen to Yardley... I was thinking the same thing but the guy here local doing my heads works alone and the timing for everything has been crappy and right now its in my garage with the old rear out and a new 3:42 posi going in and I am being VERY CAREFUL for sure. I am glad there is lots of room under the hood and I may be pulling the fenders off when the nasty BBB goes back in. When its running it has to go back to the body guy for a final buff and a nice 3 inch mandrel bent exhaust anyway. Thanks everybody for your comments.
Steve I will try to PM you tonight and I will give you my home number so if you want I can give details as you need them.....
