This approval gives you full access to the site, to pictures, and to post, among other things. To be able to enjoy the full potential of the board for you, you need to be fully registered.. and that's easy.. Just send an email to me at jim@trishieldperformance.com and I will verify your registration. This policy will remain in effect indefinitely, as it has completely eliminated the bad actors from our site, who would spam and hack it, once they gained access. Thanks JW

I am very excited to finally help get this car out to be seen and enjoyed.

My long time good friend Mike.... has a very special car that has been in their family since day one. Mike, myself and 3 other great friends are all car guys....we all still live in the same town and we all still have our very first cars from High School that we all Street Raced, Drove to Proms, Attended many Car Craft Street Machine Nationals (Du Quoin, IL.), Cruised Dukes Drive-In (Bridgeview, IL.), etc.

I have been asking Mike for decades....to get the car out and have it restored....The answer finally came true last Week. Mike has entered the car for the 2021 MCACN Barn Find.

The car was purchased New at a Chicago Ford Dealership by Mike`s Father....Mike`s Dad passed away at a young age and Mike was granted the car.

The car is a 1960 352 Hi-Po Ford Starliner. The car has not moved or started in over 50 years. The Ford 352 Hi-Po engine was the one of the very first engines built with a Performance Package that was above its time....they were the cars that helped pave the way for The Muscle Cars. It was Ford`s highest rated hp engine for 1960.

The plan is to show the car as is....at The 2021 MCACN Barn Find.
I will restore the car in 2022....however we will not touch the Paint (mostly original paint), the glass, the trim, nor the interior. I will restore the complete drive train, chassis, suspension, brakes and exhaust....all back to factory correct specs.

See you all at the 2021 MCACN.

The Red Starliner above was restored by Ford guru Donald Allen....Don will be with us at MCACN in 2021.
Don is super talented and knowledgeable with the Ford Hi-Po Models.
