Hey all Normally I only sorta cruise around with my old boat. I haven't really had anyone even egg me on since I have had it on the road this season. On Wednesday night this week I was on my way home (on the back road as usual) and as I came over the crest of the hill I came upon an 80-81 vette (I think that was the year due to its bubbled back window). We motored along at about 40-50 mph for a few miles but when we hit the straight secton of road he punched it. I know the old gal has get up and go just from driving her all summer but so far I have never actually had another car nearby to bench mark her with. I put my pedal down. He took off. So did I. Within seconds I was on his tail and had to back off so I didn't end up tagging his rear. I let him move up some more and them to my amazement I did it again. This happened 4 times in total before he backed off and realized that this big red beast in his mirror would walk over his car had I not got off of the go pedal. I was impressed with the old gal. So were my 3 passengers. I get a laugh how this fiberglass sports car with only one person in it was practually pushed down the road by the old family sedan with a full load. This was out of character for me but man.. what a RUSH! Gotta love the boat tails!
thats whats great about muscle cars, you can load em up and go have some fun, you put two three people in a honda and shes boggin
