checked out my muncie the other night before I put it in the car and noticed it was missing 3 little clips that are held in place around the gear by a spring clip. Never looked inside yet to see if they have fallen off or just missed at some time during a rebuild. I have never ran this tranny to see how it runs but i'm curious what these clips are for? I'm guessing it holds the slider from slipping out of gear? any info would be great what would have happened if I didn't see they were missing? How hard are they to replace and how important are they?
