Hey friend I dont have a MUNCIE for sale but I have had and used them for years and they are pretty cherry but have a few problems. The M20 is not a good trans for thrashing as they are wide ratio and have too much ratio change between gears .The M21 is a good one and is fairly strong .The M22 however is the king it is the only one that has a26spline input shaft and a large output shaft(same as a turbo400) and the teeth on the gears are cut straighter and they wine allot. But they are worth much more.another option is the borgwarner super T10,it is nearly a bolt in replacement and is stronger. I hope this helps. Good luck in your search. Jared Yocum

    muncie lookin'

staged : am currently looking at a very nice m21 / close / course spline muncie - will probably get that . the same guy has a low mile ( like 3000 ) richmond super t-10 plus tranny also for sale . fine spline , wide ratio ( 288 first i think ) curently in his 69 chevelle . $1100.00 . the trans , like his car , is spotless . they are about $1500 new through summit . if you go to www.richmondgear.com you can cruise around in there and find out about the trans and other good info . remember that is a t-10 "plus" trans , a couple little differences between that and the reg super t-10 . del

I`m looking for a trans just for a trans swap, not looking to kill it for racing,i`m looking for a muncie because i have a shifter for one,i`m not looking to get an M-22 cause they are big bucks, from 70-up the muncies used the fine spline input shaft and the TH-400 output shaft.

    Thanks
