    hello folks,

does anybody know how to mount the back up light switch on the borg warner 4 speed ?

when i bought the car a long time ago this part misses, but now i bought it from year one.

i looked under the car, but don`t find out how or where to mount it !

    thanks for any help....

Good question. I'd like those lights connected someday too.

Here is a pic of the switch on my 1965 GS. It has the BW T-10 transmission.
If you need the mounting bracket, and link rod, I would suggest you contact a Corvette supplier, as the early Corvette also used the BW T-10 trans.
    http://www.zip-products.com
shows a bracket for $12.50, the link rod for $6.50, and the shield for $8.
Or, if you want to spend too much  , Ecklers sells the kit for $69.99
    http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?pf_id=51001&dept_id=1384
These may also be available from suppliers that specialize in 1960-64 Impalas.
Just make sure the parts fit the BW T-10 trans, and are not for the Muncie transmission...:TU:

    You are welcome!
    Glad I could help.
Be certain the parts you order are for a BW transmission and not a Muncie.
