Motor mounts & frame pads- 67 skylark 350 transplant

Discussion in 'Small Block Tech' started by 67californiaGSkid, May 19, 2021.

  1. I'm in the process of dropping a refreshed 69 RP code 350 in my 67 skylark and was wondering what the best route to go for motor mounts and frame pads is...
The car had a roached out olds rocket in it, and I'd like to have all new hardware for the new powerplant. What's the best option for my situation?? I'm guessing TA
    Thanks in advance

TA has the motor mounts but I don't think they have the pads. Call and ask: (480) 922-6807
Post in the parts wanted for the pads. I would think used pads would be fine.

65-67 frame pads for 300-340 should bolt in the 350 with 300-340 engine mounts. 350 mount may work also but not absolutely sure.

find the 300-340 pads and mounts. then add the 350. oem carb linkage still works. if they didn't cut up the harness it. all will work

What pads are in it now?

  6. Not sure exactly what frame pads are in it. I'm guessing they're factory 67 but I could be wrong.
Whatever they are, the 70 olds 350 motor mounts bolted up to it
    I will take pictures tomorrow

I would bolt new engine mounts to the engine and lower it in till it matches the trans and then you will see if the frame pads will work, need to be moved, or replaced with different ones. You can test the new mounts on the pads to see if they will even fit at all.
