    I just want to make sure that I am close. The upper control arm shafts are left unpainted, correct? I sandblasted them clean, i.e. no finish. Can I just seal them, or do I need to paint them the cast color. Does that hold true for all cast components, including the motor mount mounting blocks that are on the frame.

    with the way rust appears so easily on unprotected iron/steel surfaces, i would seriously consider clearcoating these unpainted items.

    Jason;

    I've taken lots of photos. The problem is posting on the Board. The files are too large and crash. The body is at the body shop; I am having the inside prepped and painted. They are going over the pans that I welded in. They are going to paint the firewall, the inside and the bottom of the shell. The dash and the lower gloss section of the dash. They should have it done in a couple of weeks.

    I am currently working on the suspension.

    I will try to post some photos of the frame.

    Jason;

    I figured out how to reduce the photo size. To answer your other questions, I have parts all over my house, garage, NY, Philly, and other States. My wife is going to kill me soon if I spend any more money. I hope my kids get full scholarships, or they aren't going to College. Santa is dead (I hope there are no small children reading this).

    It is finally getting to a point where I can start putting stuff back on. I have about two weeks or so of blasting and painting at home before full scale assembly begins. I am hoping to have the rear end (minus) the gears and such, installed by the end of December. I have to get all new fuel and brake lines.

    If the body shop can hold off on finishing the body, I can get a majority of the underside stuff done. If they need to charge me rent for storing the shell, then I may have to drop it on the frame sooner than I would like. My wife will not give up her side of the garage.

    I'll get some photos of the body the next time I go there.

    Talk to you soon.

    Happy Thanksgiving to all.
