    As a follow up I did get to see the Petty drag car. It is still Petty blue but a basket case.

    You know, Dave, you & JJ & I shoulda swung through Paragould on our way back from Commerce...woulda been perfect, since they run on Sunday afternoons...

    I've got relatives that ran that track, they would drive nearly 100 mi. just to get someplace flat and straight. Tried to take my 79' Lil' Red Express there back in the 80's but never made it

    We drove 200 miles in the drizzling rain because the weather man said it would clear off by 7 AM. When we got there George said it was "to-wet".
