Mockup of Wilwood disk brake

As I am already a little antsy, I started on the brake conversion even though the car is still in storage.
I drilled and tapped a set of used drum brake spindles and started measuring to figure out the spacers I need in between a) the bracket and the spindle and b) the caliber and the bracket. Also wanted to see how the setup fits into my 15" wheels. Here are some pics:

The setup looks almost a little small within the 15" rim, but I guess the next bigger size of brakes would not fit at all.

Got me a little gadget for straightening the brake lines, it is called "kwixpipe":

Wanted to ask you guy about your opinion about it before ordering, but then forgot about it and ordered it anyway. I am impressed. After moving that thing back and forth a couple of times the brake line is straight like a ruler.

Looks nice!! Is this the 11” version? How much room is between caliper and rim? Wilwood says the 12.2” would also fit...

Yes, it is the 11" kit #140-15272. I did not want to take any chances and more important, I wanted to keep at least somewhat the stock appearance. Drilled rotors do not look like they belong to a vehicle with a historical plate :). The less discussions with the authorities, the better :).
Will try to make a better picture and do some measurements for you.
