With price of gas we are looking at our wallets.

Is there any shows related to Midwest , area? Closest so far is Columbus under performance group, or BCA Regional at St Louis in Sept ( WHY kids back to school??), and the BUICK Dealer show in Still Water MN by Mn club bca in the fall. Why are all the shows west of the rockys, or east of Chicago?

Unfortunately for us, the Buick shows are where the majority of Buick owners live, or relatively centrally located to the club membership. Hard to argue with logistics. The BCA and ROA nationals move around the country though, you might want to check their upcoming schedules.

We had a Buick summer get-together a few years ago in the Twin Cities, but it faded away for some reason.

We had a get-together here in Fargo a few weeks ago, all 3 of us met at BWW for a few brews and wings.

You need so much to start, finance for grounds, insurance, persons to work show. advertising, so on, and todays economy, with out a founded show, small shows tend to fail, or fall short of costs. Local club says they cant get enough workers for a general show, on 200 + members maybe 45 work. poor record to get a show going, new.

sometimes just a meeting of on line guys to say hi to each other and meet at a hotel, just for fun getting maybe 30 cars, can be more efficient in getting something going no out of pocket cash.

Isn't there a Buick show every year at the Fair Grounds? It actually might not be at the fair grounds, but I'm fairly certain there's a large Buick only show. I've never attended but I remember getting flyers for it at the all local cruise in's.

yes, buick local, has a place of only buick parking, but is the everything show, by gopher state buick. good show good swap, not alot of gs come in, some, but not lot. would love to have more like buick only shows with a 3 day ideas of nationals in local zones each year. not just once every 5-7 years. Cant afford to go to St Louis this fall, gas too much for family budget and show cost too.
