Members here banned by name on fb(?)

Please come find me and point him out if he’s there this year, I don’t take kindly the level of insults he uses, it’s hard to hide behind a keyboard at BG.

 

I don't go on there much & have only rarely posted on his page but...

 

Also, you know darn well he's lurking on here and certainly watching this thread.

 

He may even be a member on here...

Maybe even posting w/in this thread, lol. (I've met almost everyone in this thread so...).

Facebook is a cesspool. Never had an account there and I never will.

 

It does have it's uses. I've tracked down old school mates, one from over 50 years ago.

 

Agreed . The only thing bad about it is assholes that have to post pictures of their latest meal at a restaurant Like others really give a FU#@ .

 

For what ever it is worth... The best thing is just to ignore him. The more he is discussed here, the more "popularity" he receives there... as well as him being more 'triggered". The one good thing is he loves Buicks!

 

I don't know him and have not witnesses his spectacular idiocy, but doubt he is able to keep his mouth shut.

And if you dislike the guy then the last thing you should do is be in his FB group. It empowers him and fuels his ego. There are several other Buicks groups better than his anyway and without his presence.
I can assure you he lurks on V8buick and has read every word of this thread.

 

Agree it would take tremendous discipline but he's been banned once if not multiple times & so he knows...

 

Yeah, there's some real cowboys in that group, I left it last week!

 

I encountered this dude several months ago. He's what I call a "super patriot," someone who truly believes in the greatness of his favorite brand, and you can say something that will be factually objective but lord have mercy if it runs contrary to his favorite brand. Another name for these types of people (who exist with all brands and are most famous with home team sports favorites) is "blowhard." What he ended up doing on his own Buick group was to post #$% about me (even when I was posting my absolutely-enjoyable-to-write Stage 1 vs. Hemi retrospective) and restrict my ability to reply, which is a pu55y move.

So I asked some friends here about this dude and one showed me an old thread here. Seems this guy is a known quantity in the community. It's a shame because I think, as a smaller mover and shaker in the market, Buick needs good, logical evangelists to spread the Buick gospel. Hell, he said @#$ about Brad, which is dumb.

Let him continue his dumbassery.
