    :Do No: what can i expect from running a setup like this and how will it effect my performance?also, would you recommend running just an electric pump or a mechanical or both?how will this effect my pressure at the carb. inlet and is a 7lb.pressure pump too much for an edelbrock performer carb. ? what is the max amount of pressure you can run before performance drops off or it damages something in the carb? :Smarty: please enlighten me o' wiseass, i mean wise ones.:grin: :grin: :grin:

    Tell me about your car?

    I have a 72 GS clone convert just now running. Could you tell me in detail about your car ie. engine mods., hp #'s, trans, exhaust, gear, tires, ect... I was hoping for low 14's with mine. Current specs are;
    350 .30 10.5, ported 74 hds, stg.1 intake, 800 q-jet, headers, th350, 2.56 gears (yuck), cam is gs118 ... to big for the gears. This week my 3.73 posi goes in, and running 225 70 14 T/A's.

    Thanks, David

    A guy I knew had a NICE NICE ENICE NICE 70 Stage1 car, show winner yada yada but it ran 12.80's in the 1/4 (bracket car consistent). Anyways, when driving around he used a stock Stage1 pump but he had an electric pump he would switch on when drag racing.

    So, used BOTH. If you have like an MSD box you could have the elect pump triggered when the engine goes over a certain RPM so its all automatic or just have a manual switch...
