Guys, I have to get new head gaskets for my engine. Now the old head gasket set has no part numbers on it. It looks like the mutli layer style from T/A pn 1725. If I was going to measure the thickness of the gasket where would I take the reading? From the raised area around the bores or along the edge of the gasket. I have an email into the original owner of the car for help. I figure I would put it out there for you guys.. Thanks
