I see a lot of worry about Chinese parts being put in our cars..

McQuay-Norris has been making parts for a long time right in Illinois..

Try PartsAmerica.com for the best prices..I just got 4 tierods and sleeves, center link and idlerarm for the racecar. Took 3 days to get here.:TU:

Are these parts better than Moog and if they are what are the part numbers for the front end. I will be needing parts for my 71 GS 350 with a 4 speed.

    Thanks, George

George if you go to Parts America.com and just click the shop by brand link and choose Mcquay-Norris.. Then when you choose a part it asks the year make and model of the car.

    Simple. :TU:

I've had them on my other GS for a couple years now and they are still nice and tight. And I beat the crap out of it. :pp :pp

I am not as familiar with your brand but Moog makes high quality made in US parts that I have always used and I think MOOG looks closer to stock. I believe MOOG may have been GM supplier for our cars as well.

Funny that I just seen this post. I just got both sides inner and outer tie rods from that company. Gonna install them this weekend. But I bought the hotchkiss solid sleeves for the tie rods. The tie rods were cheaper than moog by over $15 a piece at O'reillys. You said you replaced the center link that connects the tie rods together didn't you? You take a picture and post it here for me so I can see difference on stock. I might go ahead and replace the rest too.

Im with copperheadgs, I like the moogs and you can still find them cheap on ebay if you understand all the vehichles they interchange with.

Here's a thread that shows interchangeability

As a follow up, the 71-2's outers are different from previous models. I dont have my moog catalog in front of me, but I think there es406

    Guys

I believe these are the correct Moog parts for 70-72 Buicks Skylarks/GS

    ES406L - Inner Tie Rod
    ES406R - Outter Tie Rod
    ES2004S - Adj Sleeve
    DS749 - Center Link
    K5143 - Idler Arm

    Hope this helps
