"M" stamp on upper control arm

    Just curious if any Buick or GM historians might know what this "M" stamped on the upper control arm of my 1964 Skylark might mean. I assume a part supplier or plant that manufactured. Would be great if anyone might know. It may be completely insignificant, but I'm always interested in learning more about how my car was built and where all the components came from.
