LS motors into G-bodies

    I have a 83 Regal Wagon with the 3.8, and was seriously thinking of installing a 5.3 LS truck motor into her and running a carb install instead of the EFI that it comes with, has anybody done this or know of anybody or anyone that has, also any links for this type of install, thanks.

    Ron, can't help you out with info for the swap, but I bet it will move nicely when it is done. My Silverado with the 5.3 moves pretty good for how heavy it is...in a much lighter G-body it would be a blast to drive.
