I need a picture of the head of the philips head screw and the length (a picture would do) of one. I was working on the GS today and saw the screws were missing. I know I have the correct ones here- just don's remember what they look like.

    Thank you!

These are non-self tapping. I would think originals would be self tapping . Todd GS has them on his website. BF877E48-159A-4D35-9B9A-E4DCCE10DEB5.jpeg

The originals are self tapping. I just remove my originals to swap the trim for non depressed wipers. I can remove one easily and get a picture. Mine didn't have clear plastic washers though. I know they are original as the 1970 Penny is still stuck in the rubber holding the windshield.

Note: Sometimes these kits come with plastic washers. The Plastic Washers are not used on our Buick’s.

OK. Spend some time yesterday in my "small" screw can. I feel that there may be two (2) types of screws- the non-self tappers, which have a dab of wax or glue or some substance on the tips and the self tappers that Pat shows. Both have philip's heads, both are narrow with a flat section, both are stainless.

    Jason,
Some of the cars did come with plastic washers under the screws, but I do not remember the Make or Models that had them.

That may also have been a Plant thing.

All of my big cars had them, but none of the Skylark/GS’s
