    Hello guys.

I'm wondering if anybody could give some tip on what I can do.
For about 15 months ago I bought a 1958 Caballero project car in Canada at EBay.
The guy I bought it from has also bought it on EBay, but had changed his mind since it was a very long distance to pick it up and then he sold it again on EBay.
I won the auction and had a transport company from Vancouver to pick it up.
But when we were going to do the paperwork, nobody has the title. The guy I bought it from says he never received the title, and when I ask the other gay who sold it first he just tell me to contact the guy I bought it from.
So, now the car has been in storage at the warehouse in Vancouver for more an a year and it has cost me a lot of extra money.
I have chassis number, but what can I do to get a new title so I can export it to Norway???
Any help will be aprs heated very much.
    Thanks a lot.

    Best Regards Magnar in Norway

Magnar, In Canada a replacement copy of an ownership(registration) is an easy thing to get. Then you simply have to track down the previous owner and get it signed over to you or get it signed over to you by means of an affidavid.

For this really to work you need to know which province it was last registered and hope the VIN matches the registration.

If all this fails, there is a way to get a commissioner to sign paperwork to give you a new ownership based again upon signed affidavids and statements.

    I hope this helps.
