i have a 69 430 its been bored 30 over and i had the heads rebuilt and the crank turned. ive also had alot of machine work done to the block and heads. im looking for ideas and pointers to get more power and tricks to build the engine for possible power adders.
Other than putting a blower on it, head porting work for maximum flow is the key to additional power. The cheapest addition is to add a distributor recurve by a pro. Another option is the addition of headers. Studies have shown that shorties will make the same gains as long lubes on a street car.
