I've owned this El Camino for over 30 years, I'm the second owner. Savannah is her name, and she has over 280,000 miles on her. I put over 250,000 miles on her myself. In 2019 a new timing chain, oil pump, fuel pump, valve cover gaskets, radiator, water pump, power steering pump were replaced. Since then, she has been in a garage spending most of her time waiting for me to start to restore her. Due to a minor accident in 2017, I've replaced the front chrome bumper with a 1976 OEM bumper. Still have the OEM/Damaged bumper that came on Savannah. As soon as this weather breaks, I'll have more pictures for you. The $5500 is firm and cash only. I DO NOT need help selling. Looking for the right person to spend the next 30 years enjoying her. If the post is still up she's for sale. Thanks for looking, Savannah.
Vehicle that weight really needs a 350 + plus ci V8. However that one appears to be a very good possibility.
Very tough to find rust free examples even out west. The rear floors are almost always rusted out in the rear floor boards because the rear bed panel always leaks into the rear floor boards and traps moisture. Most examples out hear are usually beat to death and have rust in the most usual places. I have restored a couple and parted dozens of these cars. Many one year only parts on the 1973-75 model years. 1976-77 are the most similar. I Sold my 1977 a couple years ago and my rather large parts stash but I still have some parts left over.
