Looking for 72 Electra intermediate steering shaft

The U Joint on the intermediate steering shaft of my 72 Electra is pretty sloppy.
I am not having much luck finding a replacement. Could I possibly just get a new U-joint and weld it to the old shaft or does anyone have suggestion of a source for a replacement shaft with the U joint attached?

 

Might want to try either Borgeson or Flaming River. Just a suggestion.

are they the same as 69 grand prix >> I have one from a 69 SJ grand prix with a ujoint

my buddy would buy these up from us for his demolision derby cars..
