Hey all, working on having my QJ rebuilt on my 66 Olds toronado. It's QJ# 7027157 which checks out as a 67 Toro carb. I dont have a clue on how to rebuilt these so I left it with a buddy who has rebuilt a few of them. He said he is having issues finding the float vent (huh?) I think the way he explained it is that it sits above the float, and keeps the fuel from sloshing around and getting dirt into the fuel. Does anyone have a number I can call to purchase this part, it has not been in any of the rebuild kits that he has looked at (or called around for, for that matter) I'd love to beat him to the part and tell him I found it via V8buick.com:cool: :moonu: thanks!

it's just a little piece of plastic. I don't think anyone sells it. I have some parts carbs laying around, I might have one if you still need it.

I can send one your way also...I don't know how close the years are in terms of similarities, but it might help.

All of us with 93/8 want a 3:23 or 3:42. I'm still stuck with the 2:92 posi.

I might take one up since its so hard to find a posi...

I do have the carrier, all I need is the ring and pinion gears. I don't think it will be too hard...although I have been waiting for a whiel.:gt:
