Took the GS350 to Dr. Buick in Pleasantville, NY. The SBB started bleeding oil due to the bypass and hope the cure isn't a major problem. Will keep everyone informed of the operation.

What does bleeding oil due to the bypass mean?

I have developed too much crankcase pressure, Compression Bypassing the rings causing smoking and the gaskets to start leaking oil, have to find out what is causing it. :Dou:

Are you sure you don't have a bad PCV valve?

No, the PCV is new, it was changed when it started to show traces of smoke at WOT. Dip stick was the first sign, when it kept popping up due to the compression in the crank case.

Thanks Sean, I'll pass it along to the Buick Doctor, The 350 is out of the car and on it's way to getting all new internals, which were damage due to heat. Which must of happen with the previous onwer, I never had a overheating problem and the engine ran good all summer till I spotted the bypass coming out of the exhaust. :Dou:

I heard from the Buick Doctor today and he advised that the pistons were in, the cam should be here in the next few days, hopefully the engine will be back together by the end of the week, the latest early next week. :TU:
He will clean and detail the engine bay before installing the LiL 350 back.

Heard from the Buick Doctor today and advises that the assembly of the LiL 350 has started. He emailed me the following: "Picked the motor up Friday night and wanted to do work on it Saturday but a bunch of the members came up early for the party so I didn't get much done Saturday. Today we got the motor in with the headers and painting of some brackets and misc items. The points were shot in your distributor as well as the vacuum advance. I also ordered a new battery tray since yours was rotten real bad. I barely got the bolts out of the inner fenders even with heat because it was so rusted! Coming out real well so far and hopefully can get it started up by the weekend" :beer

Today, I took a ride by Dr. Buick to see how the LiL 350 is coming along. I was in total shock with the fantastic overhauling operation performed by the Doctor. The photos do not do this artist justice. Every bracket, alternator, power steering pump, inner fenders, steering box, and block was painted correct colors and properly detailed beyond all my expectations :beer

The LiL 350 is almost ready to fire this Monday, just few more details and the engine will be ready to fire under the supervision of Doctor Buick. The operation has gone perfect with no set backs, will see what kind of problems will arise once the engine is broken in. :TU:
