My bad. i think most people make them out of aluminum sheet metal. I think Tyler built the ones for his car. maybe in his race car build thread. I'm not sure if someone mass produces and sells them. sorry
I took mine off while the car was in peices and cut the cenetrs out with a cutting torch. Ground off the slag and put it back on. I probably saved 3-5 lbs.
I own a fab shop and can build these brackets but I've got a lot of work and it could take me some time .I think I have some extra 69 + 70 brackets I could use as patterns to layout on my computer once that was done I could build them as needed.
I have a 72,so I'm not sure if they interchange with 70..we should first get a list of folks to make sure you don't waste your time. I say maybe start a new thread once you feel the time is right,and clear it with the vendor policy,too...thanks...Fish
