Hey this is kinda quick 'cause I only have a minute. I'm in LA waiting for our flight out to Seoul tomorrow, we've got a team of 20 of us headed over to an orphanage in Laos for two weeks to do some construction and hangin out with the kids there. I won't be on the web much until I get back but if you want to see a few more details and follow some updates/pics as we go, someone will be updating a blog on my church's website... http://www.thewellcommunity.org/missions/ I'm actually not in the picture 'cause I couldn't make it but...here we go! Pretty stoked about it! We're taking as many tools over as we can, which in a 50 lb suitcase leaves the options kinda limited for taking tools AND clothes to wear someone donated 20 duffle bags to us so we filled those up with 50lbs of clothes to take and leave there, so we've got one suitcase and carry for all our supplies! Anyway, we've got a bunch of construction/farmboy guys and a couple doctors/teachers, so most of us will be doing construction on some repairing some roofs...since the kids sleep on the floor, the leaky roof for rainy season is kindof a bummer. talk to you guys later. jon
