When I was a teen, my Buick 350 powered Regal had a set of 2.55:1 gears and a TH-350. I raced a Chrysler Conquest (Mitsu product) with the turbo 4. These things were fast in the days of TPI being badass......which my regal would still eat.......The Conquest has a speedo that reads 140 MPH. I passed the dude flat out and his speedo was burried. My Regal would run at least 140 (since it had a 85 MPH speedo) and according to the Conquest....which blew 2 rods outta the pan shortly after. Could this constitute a run on 200 MPH with a 350 Buick smallblock. The damn motor I had in the Regal was a 2 barrel 140 HP 1978 special....nothing fancy. Could a 200-4R and a 2.55:1 gear ratio and some twin turbos push the thing over 200 MPH with minimal costs.

Has anyone tried a LSR 350 Buick????
