Anyone weigh their car similar to this one: 84' t-type with Glass, bumpers, deck lid, hood and plastic Jegs seats? Also, manual brake booster, steering box - roll cage, alum rad and front bumper mounts. 8.5 rear end ????? Oh ya, no heater or air, just a small steel plate in it's place .. BBB alum heads, intake with electric water pump.. :TU:
I would prob willing to guess 3100 to 3200 without driver my fully dressed weighs around 3500 with out driver it reall depends on what kind of cage and the type of tubing used
my 82 regal weighs 3610 with me,and full fuel cell fiberglasss cowl hood, heater box removed and lightened bumpers only body mods
The cage is mild steel S&W 14 point, but I might not weld in all of it ... I was trying to get it down to 3000, 3180 with me in it :TU:
there was some posts on weight over on the turbobuick.com or turbobuicks.com site, talked about diff parts , weight savings of this and that, if i find it ill post but check them out.
scales i just went to the local landscape place and bought some mulch. while i was paying i said, " can i weigh my suburban on the way out?" they have a huge scale to weigh trucks before and after loading. 5840 with me in it.
