killing a mustang

I guess we have to put something new here,so here it is.Went to the Friday car show in Bellmore[it was a famous hot cars get together for years,right Alan,Larry,Jason,Mooney?] about a month ago.About 7 PM I started the car and went driving to the exit to go home.You have to make a right turn and then a left to the 3 lane highway.Before the left turn,I was following a Cobra Mustang,late model,supercharged.He made the left turn[we were the last to make that turn]he waited for my GS,thinking he was going to spank the old man with the GS.Wrong,I showed him what pure power is all about.Very surprised look on the passenger[he was on my left]and lastly he give me a nod of approval .Not bad for a car that it's over 4000 pounds with me in it and it idles at 650.I have a TA cam 288.98h,with stock rockers,3inch pipes,3000 stall conv.One more notch for the Buick.BrunoD.

 

I guess i doesnt matter how old you are once you get bitten by the racing bug it never goes away..... right on bruno

 

Bruno you mean the car in your sig? Idles at 650 rpm and runs 9's? What am I missing?

No Ken,that car is not street legal,I do have a 70 GS455,number matching motor and trans.I have S-1 heads,steel,done by Gessler about 20 years ago.I also have 2 T-Type turbo Regals,one is 87 WE-4 and the other is 85 t-type turbo,with 87 drive train.In the old day's I would have 10 to 15 cars all the time,all Buick's. Anyway,it did surprise the passenger,the driver would not look at me.All in a day's work.We don't have that many races anymore.You guy's know what I'm saying,right.Thanks for the good comments to all,Bruno.
