Thanks all. I have a habit of finishing things like this and then selling them. I don't know about this one though. Jim, you know this car, and the gentleman I bought it from. (Tom B.) I've been looking for this car for many years. My Dad bought a 71 Stage 1 new in 71. In 1980 for $150.00 it was mine. I needed to have another after it was demolished by a girl doing 60 mph+ in a mall parking lot in 1983. I went thru a few Skylarks and a GS here and there, but nothing to brag about. This car is a true GS, but was born a 350/350,3.08. I took every speck of paint off this car and not one hint of rust! It's not a true Stage 1, but except for non matching numbers, good luck telling the diff. I've given it the best of everything, and still have a few minor things I'd like to do. EVERYTHING except the majority of the interior is brand new. As you can see by the pics., the interior doesn't need much. The car still had the original spare in the trunk. I also have all the paperwork (oil changes, belts, tune ups, etc.) but not the bill of sale or build sheet. What do I have left? The clock and A/C only seem to work when they want to. I have a speed alert speedo I'd like to put in. The dash chrome needs a little help, new backs for the front buckets, ( I know myself and I'll probably do the entire interior, knowing it doesn't need it) I'd like to add tilt wheel and power windows and locks. OK, someone tell me where to stop. My other cars I just can't seem to leave alone are a Crown Vic LX with an underdrive Steeda pulley system, K&N FIPK, Supertuner, chrome duals from it's Mercury cousin, and a little suspension work. A Pontiac Gr. Prix, I'll let the following pics explain that one. My wife has the mini van. She "thinks" I've left that alone. Thanks again all for the compliments.
