Ok I'll think about what I'm going to do. My car is just a $1,900 daily driver so I'm not too concerned about performance at the moment. I'm fine with my Edelbrock for the time being. Thanks for the information.

Did you get the fender and plug wires from the junkyard?

No I was supposed to go with my friend today after school so he could get parts for his Barracuda and I was going to check out the fender and wires, but that didn't happen. The next day I have time I'm going up there to get a better look at the fender and hopefully get a price on it!

Being we didn't have the internet back when I first started playing with my GS and other Buicks I've owned, take the advice given to you:TU: I know I'd be WAAAAAY ahead dollar wise if the internet was around and excellent boards like V8 Buick.
Get the fender for your car if you need one, and its reasonable.
Nevermind the flashy yellow plug wires, especially if yours are working fine.
Have a/your Rochester Q-Jet rebuilt and calibrated by one of the two people Larry mentioned (Im sending mine this winter to have Ken @ Everyday performance rebuild and calibrate mine)
Once your Skylark is burning rubber and running like a raped ape, you'll soon forget about yellow plug wires.
Bright colors and chrome doesn't make your car run good or fast:Smarty:
