Just thought I would post some junked Skylarks I know of. Still some good stuff. Here is a 72 with a pretty straight rear bumper already off. Rubber is gone however.

If you go back, get the manual brake input rod...that is a sought after item.

I assume you got the cowl screen H-clips.
Would also be a good idea to get the thread inserts from the fenderwells...you can cut them out with some metal shears.

George good thougths on the inserts on the fenderwells. No real good H's around in there. Most gone or so crusty not much good. There are at least 7 70-72's here. Not real cheap however. explain the brake parts again?

Is it the handle rod for the parking brake?

I think George is talking about the rod that goes from the pedal arm that would then go into the master cylinder. It is required from going from power brakes to manual. If I recall it's pretty easy to remove. remove the pin from under the dash. and remove the master cylinder. I think it comes out the front but it's been years since i've changed mine from manual to power.

Yes, the manual brake input rod....good item to resell.

Depending on his prices, the 71-2 rears, 8.5" are the ones needed by many members.

Windshield stainless if good, is another resell item.

I will try and check those bumber brackets this weekend George but I bet they are bent. Which ones do you mean? There are two 70's in this yard. One is a wagon. both with 350 4 barrels still intact.

Wow, the 350-4bbl set-ups are easy to sell.....just need the intake and carb.

The brkts someone needs are the ones that attach to the bumper and then the main brkt goes from it to the frame horn....I can supply a pic if needed.

Looks like if the yard is reasonable...you can make some $$$$ selling parts from those cars.

How about the rear tail light lens on the 70 (non wagon)? I could use those.

I will try and check the tailights and other things this weekend. Looks like another wet one. Everytime I go there lately it rains. Nothing like a nice cold November rain.

Also George on the bumper brackets this is a Flint car so it will have carriage head bolts to the frame and with the NE rust they tend to spin making them tough to get off ruining my day. Sometimes stuff here is not cheap also. They know what they have as entire yard is old stuff.

are the 70 front disc or shoes? I have a front hub lug issue with one of mine and could use one a good hub. I have front shoes and have no thought of switching to disc at this point.

Gary, there are some disc cars here. I have seen them in some 70-72 olds cutlasses as well as the skylarks. Do you mean the whole rotor assembly? Shawn as far as the big cars I there were a few mid 60's Lesabres I did not see any Electras what did you need? I think I may have to skip going there tomorrow as torrential rain coming from that Hurricane. I do not want to be wet all day again.

Any good interior, front and rear bumpers I could use these.
There was a guy here in tx that posted on here stating he had a 72 parts car I emailed him, he responded but when I asked him for pics he stopped responding
