Good deal. Are the Poe holes in the correct spot below the flaps? This is a 1975 service replacement correct?

Service replacement, the values in the date code.

I’d assert that the part number is at least 65% of the value, on grounds of identity and functionality , as the internals are identical as well as the POE holes are below the flaps. Correct for your build date is optimal, good subject for another poll.

Great idea for Stage 1 Carb poll.

To me it’s next best thing to part number and date coded correct would be the correct Service
Replacement, just like Original Numbers block, then Service replacement Block and then last period correct block. To me the SR part or block should carry 75% of the value of the original numbers/ date.

There’s also the element of rarity, 801 stage ht , 124 stage gsx, 80 stage verts, 1000 possibilities and just a handful of service replacements. If the story of loss, fire, failure, theft, was known and provided with every service part, they would also be a conversation piece for the car folklore that all collectors appreciate. Bottom line if you want your stage 1 to run correctly, buy a carb that’s factory calibrated to do so.
