This is a copy of what I posted in the Bench. Sometimes it is easier than trying to type out an update in multiple areas.

Thanks again everyone that posted here and the other threads and to those that contacted me.
48 hrs from now I should have a better idea of what's next on the journey. I do know my pathology was sent to a second facility for further analysis and confirmation of what was found.
May sound odd but I'm actually excited to see what was found. I know where I'm going in the end so I just have to get through the present. I have many goals before I leave this earth, so thank you all for the continued prayers and support. I really want to be back in the Supercat FED soon.

100% agree. The people HERE either from their posts and even through PM encouragemental support have really helped me get through my “addictive” mindset with alcoholism. So with that I wholeheartedly thank everyone and appreciate all! Couldn’t have done it without all of you. Or at the very least has really helped me through a bad spot in my life.
PS; I will continue to pray for your healing John.

Finally got the last pathology of my rib resection surgery from 2/11. The good news this time it wasn't cancer bad news it was a large lump of active scar tissue of bone and cartilage. Problem is there has been no injury to that area. With this and the other labs that have come back we are very close to a probable cause of my medical issues that started October of 2011 when I got Valley fever. My immune system and healing capability has always been on boost lol. I heal beyond fast. The diagnostic trail is pointing towards 1) a major issue with an aggressive autoimmune issue that makes my immune system attack my good cells which is what causes the scar tissue and sore bones and MAJOR fatigue issues.
    2) The other can stay the heck away from me, but it will be what it is. Hope to have that lab work back this week. Another bone marrow biopsy/ harvest may be coming soon.....
Thanks again for the support everyone

That Valley Fever is some bad stuff! You never know what its going to do long term. I had a friend that almost died from it. He caught it out west and when he came back east no one knew what it was. Luckily he ran across a doctor that was from New Mexico and recognized it.
    Keep on keeping on!

I don't know John, but, the Lord is doing his work. Glad to hear he is doing much better.

Never heard of this valley Fever, but it's looks to be super bad. It amazes me how many different diseases are on this planet. Dieing what I call a natural death seems to be in the minor category. Only a few in my family have died a natural death. Most, from that dreaded Cancer.

Yes Valley Fever is rough for some. Being primarily from the East coast I was more susceptible to getting it as I did not grow up around it. I was at a big event in Bakersfield California in 2011. During the California Hot Rod Reunion and the few days before there had been several major dust storms at the track. A few days after the event I did not feel too great, like a decent flue with strong headache. I pushed through it I thought. I had been talking with Tom Hanna about transport of a car he was buying. He said he had been dealing with VF. I asked about it. From what he said it seemed to effect older people so I said "I'm glad I'm not old". He then said his driver and shop head(about 10years younger than me) had been in the hospital with it.
I then found out Dale Paulde my fuel guy and awsome Top Fuel driver was just about dead with it. In 5.5 weeks I went from 151->120 then 2 more weeks I thankfully stopped the weight loss at 107lbs. 44lbs in 7.5 weeks is a bit much:eek:. I ended up with kidney and liver damage from it.
Jump to today it seems to be leaning that that Event "set off" my overactive immune system. Now it can't seem to see a difference between good and bad cells.
Waiting on more results from last week, somewhat patiently:rolleyes:

Well I guess I'm glad I pushed back driving the dragster until later this summer. I figured the Nationals was out as up until today the Doctors were still just throwing tests at the wall it seemed. Last week I pushed for a few day heart monitor and an echocardiogram to be done ASAP. Today/Wednesday I got both(7 day monitor after echo). I have been slowly losing my ability to work and function normally the last 2.5 years. When I did exertive work I would have a bunch of issues that pointed towards a circulatory problem. I kept getting dismissed on that as it had to be this or that? Yes I have a few different things going on but do the echo....
One dr tried to give me antidepressants as that had to be the issue without even asking me any questions about "me"? Nope!
So today I was watching the screen during the Echocardiogram (which was cool) and all seemed good on the right side of my heart with a few notes taken. The tech was talking to me and abruptly stopped when she started on the left side images. I said after 40+ years of being a mechanic that valve looks wrong. She was silent as she moved around my left side I commented "that is the exact sound, pitch, click and frequency I hear in my left ear" after exertive work or exercise this past year. She recorded the sound and made some more notes. As for what I saw was the Mitral valve (I think) red, blue, yellow and orange on both sides of the valve. The valve flaps were swinging back and forth like a set of saloon doors in an old western. Not good I'd imagine. The Aortic valve had red and blue on both sides of the valve as well, again probably not good..
I had been told by the desk before the echo that it would probably be a few days before the dr reads the echo. It would be later next week when I would get the results. As we finished the tech said she was sending the images to the Cardiologist to be read late afternoon today. Kind of gives you a calm feeling that we may be getting to the cause of the multitude of issues. All of them require specific blood flow to not be a problem. Even the cranial aneurism they can't find now?
My Grandfather had an aortic transplant when he was in his early 60s, he went to 91.
My Dad has a difribulator pacemaker keeping track of him. I was told I'm to healthy and in good condition to have a heart issue. You can be born with an issue or receive damage to your heart, oh-well.
Sorry for the long post. I had a lot to think about this evening.
I'll update when I know more. Hoping they find something regardless of what!

Sounds promising that at least you may finally be onto something even if it's not an easy fix. We are our own best doctor much of the time and our healthcare "system" (it's not) is chock full of bad incentives that force doctors into bad positions (many of you know my "other" hobby:)).

Sounds like a Prolapse in the valve. Had a friend that had that. She got to where a set of steps would wear her out. Had the valve replaced and was back to her energetic self. So maybe they have found the root cause. Fingers crossed.
